International Politics and Policy Seminar (IPPS)

IPPS is an academic seminar series hosted by the International Policy Center at the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy. It brings together University of Michigan faculty, doctoral students, and outside scholars to discuss key developments in the theory and practice of international politics. Participants present original unpublished research on topics including international security, international institutions, and foreign policy analysis.

Economic Development and Transition Seminar (EDTS)

The EDTS series is co-sponsored by the International Policy Center at the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy, the Ross School of Business, and the Economics Department (sponsored in part by a generous gift from Jay and Beth Rakow) of the University of Michigan. The series is directed by Jan Svejnar in collaboration with faculty from the Ford School, the Ross School, and the Economics Department.

Informal Development Seminar

Informal Development Seminar is sponsored by IPC and co-organized with doctoral students in the joint Ford School/Economics program. Ford School doctoral students in public policy and economics and economics doctoral students present their work in progress and seek critique from their faculty and student peers.
