Extended research projects

The International Policy Center (IPC) offers funding to Ford School undergraduate and graduate students to carry out extended research projects with a focus on international policy. Extended research project awards provide Ford School students the opportunity to build research skills and policy expertise.

Under this program, Ford students identify research organizations with whom they may carry out research projects relevant to international policy. Students subsequently conduct outreach with, and obtain buy-in from, these research organizations.

Note: This award may not be used for PhD dissertation field research. IPC provides PhD dissertation field research funding under its IPC Research Scholar program.

If awarded funding, that should not be seen as IPC's or the Ford School's endorsement of the views or opinions expressed in the student's research project.

Eligibility

  • Ford School undergraduate (majors), MPA, MPP & PhD students.
