International Policy Research Assistantship
The International Policy Research Assistantship (IPRA) program helps students build concrete research and analysis skills, positioning these students for future career success.
What it is: An hourly employment opportunity, pairing in-residence Ford School students with IPC faculty, to conduct international policy-relevant research on campus.
Who can apply: Ford School BA majors and MPPs/MPAs
How to apply: Before Fall and Winter terms, IPC staff will email Ford School students with instructions on how to apply to this competitive program. The number and thematic focus of IPRA positions vary by term. Students may not conduct direct outreach with IPRA faculty affiliates to participate in this program.
IPRA is made possible through the generosity of the Weiser Family.
My work has shown me that policymaking and scholarly research are closely intertwined. In the future, I hope to pursue graduate school, incorporating the lessons I've learned about program evaluation within a policy landscape to real-world action.
